About this experience

Step back in time to the 1800s and experience tradition and craftsmanship that withstands the test of time - an experience of a lifetime with Old Gringo, because Life is Better Wearing Old Gringo.

We think the connection of the Chisholm Trail to Stockyards is a great way to talk about a cattle route that moved a nation.

During the event, you will have the opportunity to experience history, and here is a sneak peek of some things we have planned for you.

-Witness a live blacksmith at work,

-Savor an authentic Chuck Wagon-cooked meal, 

-Enjoy live music, 

-And explore the various collections available at the museum.

You can explore their different collections, such as the Texas Ranger Room, Big Bear Native American Museum, Mule Barn, and many more.

-There is also a new building with a collection from Douglas Harman that opened in June, and there are many other great things to see.

We’ll have drinks and hors d’oeuvres available before dinner

Doors open at 3pm. Dinner is scheduled for 6pm.
