Sent two left boots and $38 shipping not refunded

I received two left boots. I returned them but old gringo didn't want to refund shipping which was $38. I called customer service and they told me I would be called back or emailed, but nobody has contacted me yet and i'm still out almost 40 bucks. Customer service acted like they did me a favor by waiving the 20 dollar return fee, which of course should be waived, but a customer still shouldn't pay the additional $38 for shipping to receive a pair of boots that are unwearable because they sent two left boots and no right. Not happy with old gringo's treatment of customers. I am out almost 40 bucks AND I have no boots due to no fault of my own. :(

LOVE them… But

I only wore them once, and I scuffed the toe and the silver color has come off of the toe, and now they’re almost unwearable, and I don’t know how to fix them
